One of the most talked about homes "that could be torn down" is 157 Kenilworth Avenue. This house was going to be torn down in the summer of 2006, but ended up being preserved. The issue drew national attention in 2006 when the National Trust for Historical Preservation put Kenilworth in its "Eleven Most Endangered Places" in the US.
