Ingleside lies just south of the Wisconsin border and approximately 35 miles north of Chicago.
Many people move to Ingleside to escape the congestion associated with villages that are located closer to Chicago. In their leisure time, residents can go swimming; fishing, boating and canoeing in the numerous local lakes or just pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the scenery. They can also spend a day at nearby Gurnee Mills outlet mall.
